Miami Cigar Adds Mandarin Flavor to Tatiana Flavored Premium Cigar Line
Miami Cigar & Company has added the new Mandarin flavor to its line of Tatiana flavored premium cigars. Like all other Tatiana flavored cigars, Mandarin is hand made at Miami Cigar's factory in the Dominican Republic. Mandarin joins the existing Tatiana flavor lineup of vanilla, cherry, rum, honey, cinnamon, chocolate, cappuccino, tropical, and Amaretto.
"Mandarin balances the delicate taste of choice Dominican tobacco with the high quality flavor essence," says Daniel Miranda, vice president of sales. "These tobaccos and essences balance and never compete with each other, offering smokers a distinctive, but subtle flavor sensation." Mandarin is currently available only in Miniature size (3 1/2 x 26). Tobacco retailers sell 'Minis' by the stick, from an acrylic display that features a jar for each flavor. A humidification unit in the jars' lids allows viewing of the cigars, while maintaining freshness. Attractive labels identify the brand and the different flavors. Savinelli Nicaragua Reserve
Savinelli USA's newest premium cigars, Savinelli Nicaragua Reserve, are true Nicaraguan puros - box-pressed cigars rolled with all-Nicaraguan premium longfill tobacco finished with a Habano 2000, Corojo blend wrapper.
Made by Tabacalera Esteli, six sizes are offered: Corona (5 1/2 x 44); Corona Gorda (6 5/8 x 46); Robusto (5 x 52); Toro (6 x 50); Churchill (7 x 52); and Torpedo (6 1/2 x 54). Magnum Joins Punch Rare Corojo
Villazon & Co., a subsidiary of General Cigar Co., has released a new large ring frontmark in the latest, limited release of the Punch Rare Corojo line. The 5 1/4 x 54 Magnum ($4.50 suggested retail) is the fourth frontmark in the Rare Corojo line, joining the existing Double Corona (6 3/4 x 48), Pita (6 1/8 x 50), and Rothschilds (4 1/2 x 50). Punch Rare Corojo is crafted with a reddish-brown Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper and a blend of Nicaraguan, Honduran, and Dominican tobaccos and a flavorful Connecticut Broadleaf binder. The cigars, which bear a second red-and-gold Rare Corojo band, are packed in eye-catching red boxes. Suggested retail price.
